Happy Sunday!
Today from 3-4 PM, paid subscribers will be able to meet virtually for our final discussion of 1000 WORDS: A Writer's Guide to Staying Creative, Focused and Productive All Year Round by Jami Attenberg.
But before that, I wanted to make a quick announcement to everyone. Read It Your Way will be going on a brief hiatus. The original plan was to kick off our next book The Science of Storytelling: Why Stories Make Us Human and How to Tell Them Better by Will Storr on May 19 (next week!). But in this space we are all about sustainable creativity and listening to your body, heart, and brain, and slowing down when you need to. To that end, we will be practicing what we preach and putting pause on the book club for an undetermined amount of time.
I anticipate that the Read It Your Way Book Club will be back in a month or two to pick up where we left off, but first I need to get some important projects done and rebalance my body and creative life.
We hope you’ll join us when we do come back! But for now, feel free to share your favorite writing inspiration book in the comments below!
